GREEN PEAS PULAO( muttar pulao) For Dinner.

I am planning to make green peas pulao(muttar pulao) for dinner.As green peas are in season these days.


GREEN PEAS PULAO:

Green peas........................ 1 1/2 cup
Rice..................................... 4 cups
Ginger/garlic paste........... 1 teasp.
Oil........................................ as required
Cloves..................................2-3
Cinnamon............................ 2-3
Cardamom........................... 2-3
Bay leaf................................. 1-2
Pepper(whole).....................2-3
Fennel...................................1/2 teasp.
Zeera..................................... 1/2 teasp.
Anisseeds..............................1-2
Salt......................................... to taste


1.Soak the rice in water for half an hour.
2.Take a pan put it in fire put oil in it,when the oil is heated add all spices(caradamom,cinnamon,fennel,zeera,bay leaf,black pepper,cloves,anisseeds) in it.
3.Now add green peas,salt and ginger/garlic paste in it stir for few mins and add soaked rice in it with 8 cups of water.
4.Now cook the rice until done.Garnish with fried onion and sprinkle some kewra water on it.
5.Mouthwatering green peas pulao is ready to serve.
